Algeria, Africa and Mandela

This collective work has been a long time in the making. In 2007, the CRASC was contacted by South African authors to take part in a project dedicated to Mandela, as seen around the world. Due to our busy schedule at the time, we were unable to participate. However, we have always felt that we owed it to Mandela’s country and our own to document in a book the connections that have united us since our War of National Liberation and the struggle of our South African friends against the apartheid regime. As the saying goes, « it’s never too late to do the right thing » and with this book, we are fulfilling, in a way, a promise we made.
